Today I went to the lovely Mz Erin's Baby Shower. It was combined with Mz Erin's friend Jane's who is only 1 month behind in the due date.
It was held at "The Old Tea House Gallery" on Springbrook Rd, Mudggeraba. It is a beautiful Queenslander that has been converted into a restaurant. 
For $14.50/head we had yummy sandwiches (with the crusts cut off.. of course), mini cupbakes & little savory nibbles. The food was really yummy. 
The wait service was a bit slow BUT it was a wonderful afternoon with the girls.

No silly baby shower games.. only a book handed around for people to write any nice thoughts, comments or advice to the new mother.
With only 3 weeks to go until the baby is due, there was lots of talk of different birthing methods, tearing vaginas & potential baby names.
I'm so looking forward to becoming an Aunty Vicki.
