Soon enough it struck midnight & out came th
e poppers & sparklers. Mz Vicki-Lou's butch twin sister Mz Vicki-Mae stopped in direct from her long haul down the Warrego Highway.
As the we
e hours came so did the crazy dancing frenzy that was a mix of skanking, clogging, dirty dancing, boot-scootin & breakdancing.
The next morning there were many sore heads & parched mouths but I'm sure that a rip-snorta of a time was had by all.
Big Mick & Mz Vicki-Lou's "Greasy Spoon Truck Stop" party was a huge success with about 14 truckers & waitresses stoppin in for some good times. On the menu cooked up by Big Mick was sloppy-joes, chilli, potato salad & coleslaw.
The filthy toilet facilities offered some good reading material.. both with the "Shooters Monthly" mags & the graffiti covered walls on which patrons were encouraged to add any thoughts of wisdom.
As well as the jukebox (CD player) crankin out some good ole trucking hits from Charley Pride, Tammy Wynette & Slim Dusty we were also blessed by the appearance of the amazing "Jungle Moose". Their renditions of "These Boots are Made for Walking" & "T
hat's not a Pussy it's a Tiger" left all the patrons yellin for more.
